For our November team building activity, we picked a local food drive that we could donate to so a few more families would have the chance at a warm and satisfying meal. While the recipients were incredibly grateful, we were the ones who were blessed by doing the giving. Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action and this was such an empowering way to bring not only our family together, but those who are less fortunate.
Watching different members of our team come back from their lunch hour with bags of food (multiple times each) brought a smile to our faces…if only grocery shopping was always that inspiring 😉 We really enjoyed putting together all the food we collected and taking it to the location as a team — that’s what the holiday is all about.
